Who Needs a Legionella Risk Assessment?
Our Four Stage Treatment Process
Stage 1 - Conventional Raw Water Flush
A raw water flush removes installation debris, sediment, magnetite and construction contamination, preparing the system for chemical cleaning.
Stage 2 - Chemical Pre-Commission Cleaning
The system is chemically cleaned to BG29 best practice guidance, removing mill scale, flux residues, oils and corrosion products. Water quality is monitored continuously until the required cleanliness standard is met.
Stage 3 - Demineralised Balanced Flush
Demineralised water is continuously introduced while existing system water is simultaneously displaced and discharged, no full drain down required. This progressively reduces conductivity, TDS and hardness to target levels: typically below 100 µS/cm conductivity, below 20 ppm hardness and below 50 ppm TDS.
Stage 4 - Final System Protection
The system is dosed with a high-performance molybdate corrosion inhibitor and biocide where applicable, then circulated and tested to confirm operating parameters before handover.
